Walmart worker also owned beauty shop Sharon A. Kehl, 69, of Knob Mountain Road, Berwick, died Monday, April 29, 2013, at Bonham Nursing Home, Stillwater, where she had been a resident since November. She had been in failing health for the past several years. She was born July 20, 1943, in Berwick, and was the daughter of the late Ivan and Letha Harman Sitler. After her mother died when Sharon was very young, her father remarried and she was raised by Geneva Molyneaux Sitler. Sharon owned her own beauty shop in her home and operated it part time while working at Walmart. She attended Summerhill EUB United Methodist Church, and more recently, Emmanuel Bible Chapel, when her health permitted. Sharon enjoyed ceramics, needlepoint, liked to work outside with flowers, and camping. She was a loving mother, wife, grandmother, and had dignity and class. In addition to her parents and Geneva, she was preceded in death by a brother, Stephen Molyneaux, who died in 1995. She is survived by her husband Frank J. Kehl Sr., and they had observed their 53rd wedding anniversary on Feb. 27, 2013. She also is survived by two sons: Frank J. Kehl Jr. and his wife, Donna, of Paso Robles, Calif.; Barry L. Kehl and his wife, Suzanne, of State College; a daughter, Kelly Kehl Knorr, and her husband, Timothy, of Berwick; grandchildren: Katie, Carly, and Kristie Knorr, Michael Kehl, Julie and Mollie Fitch, and Luke Stashak; and a brother, Walter Molyneaux, and his wife, Susi, of Delta Junction, Alaska. Funeral service will be held Saturday, May 4, 2013, at 2 p.m. at James L. Hinckley Jr. Funeral Home, 1024 Market St., Berwick, with Associate Pastor David Ney, Emmanuel Bible Chapel, officiating. Burial will be in Mount Zion Cemetery, Nescopeck Township. Visitation for friends will be held Saturday from 12:30 p.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home.
