Ruby Myrtle Skyring was born on 14 November 1900 in the Colony of Queensland, daughter of Albert Skyring (1874–1959) and Florrie Hartley (1874–1953).[1]
Ruby died on 20 April 1978 in New South Wales, Australia, aged 77 [3]. She is commemorated at Mount Thompson Memorial Gardens and Crematorium, Holland Park West, Brisbane City, Queensland, Australia (plot: Columbarium 34-Section 1).[4]
