Biography

Nettie was born in 1879. She was the daughter of Enoch Slayton. She appears to have married a Walker Flanagan [citation needed] She passed away in 1966.

OBITUARY: Mrs. Flanagan - Mrs. Nettie J. Flanigan, 87 of Marked Tree died Thursday at a Manila hospital. She had lived at Marked Tree eight years. moving there from Trumann, and was a member of the Church of Christ. Survivors include two daughters Miss Mildred Flanagan and Mrs. Dora Bankston, both of Marked Tree: two sons, Lester Flanagan of Redding, California, and W. B. Fletcher of California: and a brother. Tom Slayton of Poplar Bluff. Mo. Funeral services will be held Saturday afternoon at 2 o'clock at Marked Tree Church of Christ with Al Hale, minister, officiating.
