625. James M., b. Nov. 9, 1853, Parish, Oswego Co., N. Y.; m. Kittie L. Myers, Sept. 15, 1872, Fulton, Oswego Co., N. Y.; she b. Oct. 3, 1854, Mexico, Oswego Co.; and there she d. Sept. 20, 1874. James was in store with his father in Philadelphia, 1877 to '80, at Tally, N. Y., since; and after his father's death in 1893, he became sole proprietor of "Slayton Hotel", making it a pleasant home for his mother, also for travelers.
