Biography

Gilbert was born on June 6, 1863 in Bouctouche, New Brunswick.

In 1871, he was living with his mother and her second husband, Samuel Gaddis.^[1] In the household were:

Gilbert and Ella had one known child, G. Lloyd Smith, born April 24, 2894 in Lynn, Massachusetts.^[5]

He passed away in 1944.
