In the beginning of 1877 the family moved to Terrell, TX, perhaps to work on the new railroad line. Eventually he moved back to PA but right now it's unclear when. His wife passed away in 1891. In 1910, he was working for the PA Railroad and he was living with a woman, Mary C. It says they were married but there is a marriage record not dated until 1915.[1] By 1920 he was running a grocery store in Bainbridge, PA.
He passed away in 1924 and was buried at Middletown Cemetery, Middletown, PA.
