Frances Alice SMITH was born in about 1859 in Redbourn, Hertfordshire, England [1]. She was baptised there on the 29 January 1860. Her parents were John Smith and Alice Seabrook. The abode was Redbourn and John was a carpenter. Her first name was spelt Francis. [2] Alice's maiden name was SEABROOK. John SMITH married Alice SEABROOK in 1845. [3]
Last Years
Sadly, Frances passed away on the 21 October 1874 aged 15. She was buried on the 26 October 1874 [4] in Saint Mary's Churchyard, Redbourn. Her abode was Redbourn. The inscription was recorded by W B Gerish in 1909 but can no longer be found. [5] In the same plot (Z76) were;
Alice SMITH (w. of John SMITH) d. 10 Sep 1900 aged 77.
