Biography

Isaac Smith was born in Essex, England.

Isaac was born about 1813 in Hatfield Peverel, Essex, the son of William and Elizabeth Smith. He was baptised there on 19 Sep 1813.^[1]

He married Matilda Sparkes in 1838.^[2] In 1841, 1851, 1861 and 1871, he was living in Theydon Mount and Theydon Garnon with his wife and children.^[3][4][5][6]

By 1891, Isaac was widowed and living in Great Baddow in the household of his son William.^[7] Isaac died later that year, aged 78.^[8]
