Hillery Smith's Obituary 1889

Hillery Smith died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. John Clark of this place. He had made his home with her only four weeks, when the icy hand of death, relieved him of his suffering. He was at the age of 81 years. His wife preceded him to the grave eleven months ago. He is survived by six children, two girls and four boys as follows: Mrs. John Clark, of Everett; Rebecca Crawford, of Mann Township; Anthony and Harrison and John reside in Black Valley, near this place; H.G. Smith of West Virginia.
