Biography

Mary Smith was born in Nebraska, the second oldest child of Henry and Sarah Smith. She had the following siblings: Nettie, Lucretia, and Austin. ^[1]

She married John M. Sebring in Tripp County, South Dakota, on June 16, 1915. ^[2]

The 1940 Census shows that Sarah A. Smith was her mother, and that Mary had an 8th grade education. She married John M. Sebring, and they had at least three children together. ^[3]

She passed away on March 10, 1976, in Clackamas, Oregon. ^[4][5]
