William is found as a boarder in the household of Adam and Isabel (Lear) Stein at the time of the 1920 US Census. They live in Wheatland Township, Fayette County, Illinois. He is a widower and was born ca. 1859 in Austria. His occupation is given as "farmer." Both of his parents were born in Austria.[1]
