Biography

Jane (Soper) Reinhard was born in England.
Jane (Soper) Reinhard was an Assisted Immigrant to New South Wales.

She arrived in Australia on 8 Jun 1849 aboard Emigrant along with husband and 8 children [1] Jane emigrated from England to Australia. She came with her father William Soper, mother Mary Ann Higgins and siblings Samuel, John, George, Elizabeth, Emma, Walter and Mary. She arrived in Sydney, Australia aboard the ship "Emigrant" on 8 June 1849 when she was aged one. Mary was her twin sister.

She married William Kimber in 1867 but he died shortly after they were married. There was one child Jane Ann Kimber born in 1868 and she died in 1872. (On the birth registration index her father's name is "James", on the death registration index it is "William".)

In 1871 she married Louis Reinhard and they had six children.

In 1911 Jane lived with her husband Louis Reinhard at Gostwyck, near Paterson. She died that year on 10 March of heart failure soon after leaving her daughter's house at Martins Creek.
