Biography

Sarah was born about 1715 (inferred from date of marriage in 1736)

No christening found. Possibly dau. of James and Susan Souch living in Poynings by early 1700s or of Richard and Susanna (Blaker) m. 1717 in Kingston by Sea. The former had connections with Manor mill, Poynings, later associated with Sarah's grandson John Osborne (the miller at that time being James Graimes, mistranscribed below as Graines)[1]. Both are close to Steyning, said to be Sarah's home parish at the time of her wedding.

not mentioned in husband's will proved 1799
