who cared enough to write the family history for the future generations..........

In 1964, Lillian Barrett Doll compiled a family genealogy of her husband's family. She was married to Arthur Frederick Doll (1899 - 1989) who was a practicing chiropractor in the city of Buffalo, New York. She was his secretary and in her spare time, a family historian. She typed a family history on her typewriter and donated it to the Buffalo & Erie County Library in downtown Buffalo. There is only one copy in the archives stack.

Maggie, a Weppner descendant, was alerted to the existence of this well-revered family history sitting in the stacks of the genealogy room of the Buffalo downtown branch. Maggie took on the challenge of citing sources for Lillian's book as there were none. Maggie fleshed out a few Weppners branches beyond the scope of the book. She also collaborated with another Weppner descendant, Mary Margaret Senftle Somygi. Mary Somogyi wrote an appendix of updated WEPPNER genealogy called ADDENDA AND CORRECTIONS TO THE GENEALOGY OF THE FREDERICK DOLL AND RELATED FAMILIES BY LILLIAN BARRETT DOLL AS COMPILED BY MARY SENFTLE SOMOGYI (1979). There is only one copy. Typewritten by Mary. The appendix will be added at WikiTree.
