A source for Cleasby England, Virginia, United Empire Loyalists, and Upper Canada Robinsons is this book:

'Three Centuries of Robinsons - The Story of a Family' by Julia Jarvis published in 1953 at the University of Toronto. This is not a genealogy, but selected biographies of prominent Robinsons from 1650 until the late 1800's, sourced from a large collection of original and copies of documents collected by General Sir Charles Walker Robinson in about 1875 and donated to the University of Toronto in the 1950's.

And for those interested in one prominent Upper Canada Robinson there are these two books:

1) 'Sir John Beverley Robinson, Bone and Sinew of the Compact' by Patrick Brode adn published by the Osgoode Society in 1984 2) 'Life of Sir John Beverley Robinson' by Major-General C.W. Robinson, C.B. published in Toronto by Morang & Company, Ltd in 1904.
