Biography

Benjamin Spaulding/Spaldin, eldest son of Edward and Mary Spaulding, was born 20 July 1696 in Chelmsford, Massachusetts,^[1] before the family removed to Connecticut.

He married (1) 7 March 1719/20 Abigail Wright, daughter of Ebenezer of Cheltsford [Chelmsford].^[2] She died 6 Jan 1727.^[2]

He married (2) 30 Oct 1727 Deborah Wheeler^[2]

Benjamin lived in Plainfield, Connecticut, where all his children were born. The first four by Abigail, the last five by Deborah.
