Lovey A. Spoon was born about 1813 in Randolph County, North Carolina, she died in November of 1884 in Shelton, Buffalo, Nebraska.
On 17 May 1833, Randolph County, North Carolina, she married Lorenzo Dow Craven. He was the son of Jacob Craven and Dorcas Raines.[1]
Lovey A. was mentioned in the probate paperwork of her father Christian "Christopher" Spoon. [2] p. 136 lists items Lovey received from her father: one mare, bridle, and saddle, one cow and heifer, two good beds, bedstead and their furniture, two lambs, one chest and two chairs. Lovey's sister Sarah McCollum gave the statement on 18 October 1867.[3]
1850 lived in Owen County, Indiana, Lorenzo is a shoemaker.
1880, lived in Shelton, Buffalo, Nebraska, Lorenzo Craven born abt 1812, spouse, Lovey Craven age 67[5]
