Madie (Spotts) Searight is a part of US Black heritage.
Madie was born in 1908. She passed away in 1977.[1][2][3]
Her parents were Bennie Spotts and Ophelia (Farris) Wade.
She married George Searight.
In the 1910 census Maidie (age 1) was the granddaughter of Paul Farris in Precinct 14, Boyle, Kentucky, United States.[4]
In the 1940 census Marie (age 31) was the wife of George Slaught [Searight] in Lexington, Fayette, Kentucky.[5]
Her obituary lists the following relatives:
Children: daughters Geraldine Givens, Josie Kavanaugh, Vivian Johnson, Caroline Bradshaw, Sandra Searight; sons George, Henry Cecil, Bobby, and Leroy Searight.
