Biography

William James Spring was born on 7 September 1897 in Timaru, New Zealand, the son of Margaret Spring and John Spring.^[1][2]

He married Mabel Florence Newman on 10 April 1929 in Christchurch, New Zealand.^[1][3] Their children were:^[1]

• Esther Josephine Spring (1930–)
• Mary Rose Spring (1931–)
• Leo Patrick Spring (1935–)

William died on 19 January 1968 in Timaru.^[1][2] His remains were interred at Temuka Cemetery in Timaru.^[4]
