Biography
(Augusta) Charolette Henrietta Springborn was born in Prussia. She married Augusta Heinrich "Gustav" Cornelius and was the mother of the following children:
Heinrich Cornelius (1851 - 1873)
John Robert Cornelius (1855 - 1926)
William Ferdinand Cornelius (1857 - 1955)
Franz Joseph Cornelius (1858 - 1918)
Paul Samuel Cornelius (1863 - 1920)
Minnie Augusta Cornelius Frerichs (1865 - 1947)
Maria Cornelius (1872 - 1874)
Charlolette and Gustav are buried in the Saint Johns Lutheran Cemtery, in
Bartonville, Peoria County, Illinois. [1]
Her Find A Grave Memorial indicates that her maiden name was Springhorn, but the inscription on the headstone in unclear. The church baptism records indicate that her name was "Springborg" which was Americanized to Springborn.
I added her daughter, Minnie's death record information to her WikiTree profile, here: Cornelius-1192 The death record indicates that Charloettte's maiden namd is Springborn. We can use Springborn as Minnie's mother's maiden name until additional research proves otherwise ... perhaps the discovery of her father's name.
