Biography

Cordelia "Delia" Springston is the daughter of James W. Springston (1813 - 1859) and Elizabeth (Goodrich) Springston (1827 - 1868)

On December 30, 1869, in Glenn County, California, Cordelia married John Craig Hamilton, son of James Craig Hamilton.

Children of Cordelia and John are:

• Lena May Hamilton, born January 10, 1872, in Glenn County, California, died December 8, 1951, in Red Bluff, Tehama County, California, married John Willis Walters (1864 - 1903)

• John Cummings Hamilton, born March 10, 1874, in Colusa County, California, died December 16, 1949, in Chico, Butte County, California, married Hadassah Cleek (1878 - 1945)

• Annie Hamilton, born November 23, 1876, in Glenn County, California, died March 30, 1889, in Red Bluff, CA

• James Lester Hamilton, born April 29, 1880, in Glenn County, died April 10, 1927, in Red Bluff

John Craig Hamilton died in 1907, in Red Bluff California and is buried in the Hamilton Family plot of the Oak Hill cemetery there. Cordelia survived him until October 25, 1924 and was buried with him. ^[1]
