Biography
Elizabeth, known to most as Lizzie, was born 24 Jan 1862 in Indiana Co., PA.[1] She was the daughter of Isaac and Margaret (Uncapher) Stahl.[1]
On 4 Aug 1886 she married George "McClellan" Adams in Indiana, PA.[2] The couple had eight children during their marriage, which eventually ended in divorce.[1] Of the eight, only five survived their mother.[3]
On 8 Sept 1956, Lizzie was admitted to Indiana Co. Memorial Hospital when she fell down in her home, fracturing her hip. She never went home again. At 7:15 p.m. on 22 Sep 1956 she passed away. At age 94 she had no shortage of causes for her death - arteriosclerotic heart disease with renal failure complicated by the fractured left hip.[3][1]
