Lavincy Stancil was born in 1788, in Nash, North Carolina.
Lavincy Stancil moved before 1805 to Bulloch County, Georgia, which is a couple counties northwest of Savannah, Georgia.
Lavincy Stancil married William Taylor before 1804, and had children who were born in Bulloch County, Georgia:
Nancy Ann Taylor Campbell, born 1805, who married Seminole War solidier John Campbell, Jr. in 1820, and had six children before he was killed in a skirmish with Indians in 1838.
Grandchildren of Lavincy Stancil Taylor include several pioneers of Pinellas County, Florida.
Mary Ann Campbell, born in 1823 who married David Benjamin Turner and passed away in 1890.
Elizabeth Campbell, born in 1825, married James Parramore McMullen, and passed away in 1890
Catherine Campbell , born 1827, who married Daniel Scott Whitehurst, who was born in 1806, Catherine passed away December 11, 1857 in Clearwater, Hillsborough County, Florida.
William Nicholson Campbell, born in 1830 and passed away in 1896.
Lavincy Jane Campbell, born in 1836, named after her grandmother Lavincy Stancil Taylor and passed away in 1884.
Margaret Ann Campbell, born in 1839, married Daniel McMullen and passed away in 1909.
Lavincy Stancil Taylor lived long enough to see these grandchildren grow up and may have helped raise them after they lost their father in 1838.
Lavincy Stancil Taylor lost her husband William Taylor in 1853.
Lavincy Stancil Taylor passed away on March 4, 1860 or April 4, 1860, in Hillsborough County, Florida twelve or hirteen months before the start of the United States Civil War. She is said to have died of typhoid fever.
Lavincy Stancil Taylor is buried in Sylvan Abbey Memorial Park in Clearwater, Florida.

Searching for the parents of my 4th great grandmother and grandfather. All I know is that William Taylor was born in 1786 in Georgia, and died 7 Jul 1853 in Clearwater, Florida.
Lavincia Stancil was born in 1788 in Nash, North Carolina, and died 4 Apr 1860 in Clearwater, Florida. Both are buried in the Sylvan Abbey Cemetery in Clearwater, Florida.
Any information on their parental lineage would be greatly appreciated.
