Deacon Seth Staples son of John and Hannah Staples was born at Taunton, Mass. in 1699 and died March 20, 1778 of small pox. He married in Plympton, Mass. January 4, 1721/2 Hannah Standish, daughter of Ebenezer and Hannah (Sturtevant) Standish. They had six children named in his will as Hannah, Sarah, Susanna, Mary, Zerviah and Ruth. [1]

Hannah Standish was born on 6 March 1704 in Plympton, Plymouth, Massachusetts to Ebenezer Standish (1673-1755) and Hannah Sturtevant (1680-1759). [2]
Marriage
She married Deacon Seth Staples (1699-1778) on 4 January 1721 in Plympton, Plymouth, Massachusetts when she was 16 and he was 22. [3]
Death and Burial
Hannah died on 5 April 1774 in Taunton, Bristol, Massachusetts at the age of 70.
