Born 1676 Melwood Hall, Owston Ferry
John Stanhope was born in 1676 probably at his family's home, Melwood Hall near Owston Ferry in Lincolnshire. This survives today as a listed grade II farmhouse as altered by his descendants the Ackloms.
Marriage
John Stanhope married Elizabeth Farmery and they had two daughters and joint heiresses, Elizabeth (Stanhope) Acklom and Isabella (Stanhope) Harvey.
Death 1705 Owston
