Biography
Robert was born in 1818 in Lower Canada (Québec) shortly after his parents arrived from Ireland. The son of Richard Staples and Elisabeth Swain, he was an early merchant in Coboconk, Bexley Township, Ontario.[1][2]
Robert passed away in 1906. [3]
