J. W. STARK
After a lingering illness, died last Sunday morning
Mr. J.W. Stark died at 10:00 am, Sunday, October 21, 1894, at his home near Jacksboro. Mr. Stark had been in ill health for several years but was taken seriously about two weeks ago. He was a member of the Presbyterian Church and one of the old and honored citizens of Jacksboro and leaves many friends who sympathize with the bereaved family and relatives. He was buried in Oakwood cemetery by the Knights of Pythias, Monday at 4:00 pm where a large concourse of people were assembled.
