Isaac was born the 23rd of Feb., 1690-91, at either Cambridge or Lexington, Middlesex County, Province of Massachusetts Bay, the son of Isaac Stearns III and Elizabeth (Stone) Stearns.[1][2]
He was not born the 19th of Oct., 1697. This is an error in the below sourced Watertown Genealogies, by Bond, pg. 456, which makes Isaac & his brother, Simon, twins.
He married Rachel Randall on 14 Jun 1722 in Dorchester, Suffolk Co., Massachusetts.
He died on 16 May 1774 in Wrentham, Suffolk (as of 1793 Norfolk) Co., Massachusetts. He was buried in Wrentham Center Cemetery.

Notes: This is the administration on the estate of Isaac Stearns. It mentions his widow, Rachel, "grandson in law", Noah Pratt & a grandson, Isaac Stearns. Using the standard form language of a Letter of Administration, it states that the estate will be divided, "... among the Widow & the Children or their legal Representatives, as the law directs...". Given that only the widow, a grandson & a "grandson in law" are mentioned, Isaac's children must have been deceased.

I really do believe that the Isaac (which is the second son Isaac for Elizabeth Stone Stearns) are one in the same. Read the sources on the other Isaac and you will see that the death date listed has to do with probate, not death. Wallace Philips
