Research Notes

Dennis was possibly the daughter of Thomas Stebbins (later of Bocking). She may have also been the daughter of "Thomas Stebbings junior" who may have been the son of Thomas (husband of Ellen) and brother of Mark Stebbing[2] (and who himself may have been aforementioned Thomas later of Bocking). Thomas junior (nor his children) were named in the 1603 will of Thomas Stebbing of Black Notley, though Thomas did name his granddaughter Dennis (daughter of Mark Stebbing).[3]
