Biography
Abigail "Nabby" was born on August 25, 1787 in Tunbridge, Vermont. She was the daughter of Alexander Rockwell Stedman and Sarah Cashman.[1]
On January 1, 1809, Nabby married Samuel Stone in Washington County, Ohio.[2] Together they had 10 children: James, Alexander, John, Dana, Emily, Jeffery, Melissa, Levi, Susan, and Joseph Barker.
Nabby is listed with her husband and two adult children living in Bennington, Licking County, Ohio in the 1850 Census.[3]
Nabby passed away on September 22, 1853. She was interred at Bennington Chapel Cemetery.[4]
