Biography

Lewis was born about 1802. He was the son of Clayton Steed and Elizabeth Lewis. He passed away about 1840.

Lewis' mother passed away around 1807. Lewis, his sister, and father Clayton are noted in his grandather's, Samuel Lewis, will.[1]

He is deceased when his father Clayton dies, however his children are listed and noted as heirs for Lewis' portion of the estate.[2]
