OBITUARY. MRS MARY C. WOODHOUSE. On Sunday afternoon at Trangie. another of the old pioneers of the Western districts, in the person of Mary Collina Woodhouse, passed to her eternal rest, at the age of 86 years. With her late husband, who pre deceased her 23 years ago, deceased contributed much to the pioneering of the Grenfell, Parkes and Narromlne districts.

She was born at Ryde, near Sydney, her father being the late Dr. George Meahan Steel, of Sydney, where her brother, the only surviving member of the family, now resides. A family of three sons and one daughter mourn her passing.

They are Messrs A. B. Woodhouse (Orange), C. L. Woodhouse (Cudal), H. G. Woodhouse (Narromine) and Mrs E. T. Hodges Bogan street, Parkes).

The remains wen interred in the family enclosure alongside those of her husband, In the Church of England section of the Trangie cemetery, the Rev. J. S. Richards conducting the obsequies.
