On the first day of March, nineteen hundred and sixteen, whereas a dispensation of the banns has been posted between William Henry Steele, of Guelph, Ont, bachelor (soldier) and thirty two years, born in England, son of William H Steele and Mary Fage, of the First part; and Milicent Kent, of this parish, spinster, aged twenty seven years, born in England, daughter of James Kent and Mary C Hannan, of the second part; no impediment having been discovered, I, the undersigned ..., have received their mutual consent to marriage in presence of Thomas Enright and Janet Tierney, both of Ottawa.
