Biography

Catherine was born 25 April 1793 in Virginia. She passed away 15 March 1843 in Bartholomew Co, Indiana.

Married Benjamin Franklin Pence in Champaign Co, Ohio, 9 April 1811. Children: Eli, Sarah, Angeline, Mary Ann, John Allen, Elizabeth, Benjamin Franklin, and James Harrison.

Steinberger-71 and Steenbarger-14 appear to represent the same person because: Both represent Catherine, the daughter of John and Elizabeth. Steenbarger was the more common spelling.
