Biography
Horace came to Macomb County, Michigan in 1833 and platted the town of Frederick in 1836.In 1841 he moved to Pontiac and later to Waterford where he owned and ran mills. He returned to Frederick in 1847 and died there in 1849.
He married Henrietta Catherine Petrie in 1823 - parents of Henry H., Annette, Clarkston and Cora Jerusha Steevens.
Horace is buried at Clinton Grove Cemetery, Clinton Township, Macomb, Michigan, USA.
