Biography

Nancy was born in 1846, in Smithfield, Maine. She is the daughter of Milton Stevens and Catherine Merrow. In 1850, the family is living in Smithfield. Her father Milton is a farmer. ^[1]

In 1860, the family is still in Smithfield, Maine.^[2]

On 28 July 1867, Nancy married Augustus Goodrich in Waterville, Maine.^[3]

In 1870, the couple is living in Norridgewock, Maine. Augustine is a farmer.^[4] In 1880, the family in living in West Waterville, Maine.^[5]

In 1900, the family is living in Oakland, Maine. Augustin and Nancy have been married for 32 years. They had six children, five of whom are still living. ^[6]

In 1910, the couple is living in Oakland.^[7] They are also in Oakland in 1920.^[8]

Nancy's husband Augustine died in 1923. Nancy died in Brookline, Massachusetts in 1928. They are both buried in the Lakeview Cemetery in Oakland, Maine.^[9]
