Biography

Geoffrey Stewart (1878-1914) was the son of Maj.-Gen. Sir Herbert Stewart & his wife Georgina Janet née Stirling.
He married Violet Cuninghame Watson, daughter of William Clarence Watson and Mary Louisa Hulton, on 2 June 1908.
He held the office of Page of Honour to HM Queen Victoria.
He gained the rank of Captain in the service of the Coldstream Guards
He died on 22 December 1914 at age 36, killed in action.
