Biography

William John Stonecipher was born on August 26, 1894 in Harrison County, Indiana, United States, son of David Pitman Stonecipher (1861–1950) and Emma Florance Albin (1863–1915).

In 1900, William J (6), was a single son, in the household of David P Stonecipher (39) in Harrison Township, Harrison, Indiana, United States. [1]

In 1910, William (15), was a single son, in the household of David P Stonecipher (48) in Harrison, Harrison, Indiana, United States. [2]

Will registered for the draft for World War I. [3]

Will (21) married Elma Zuetta Watson (23) (born on May 9, 1892 in Central, Harrison; daughter of Jerry Z Watson and Avesta Ann (Anderson) Watson) on October 8, 1915 in Harrison County.[4]

In 1920, William J (25), widowed was a son-in-law, in the household of Jerry Watson (49) in Kearney, Buffalo, Nebraska, United States. [5]

Will (27) married Beulah Grace Smith (18) (born on July 9, 1903 in Kearney, Buffalo) on June 6, 1922 in Grand Island, Hall, Nebraska.[6] Their son was Jack Leroy Stonecipher (1922–1968) [non-biological].
