It was fine to merge the 2 profiles but the biography says that he married Elinor Williams in 1750, he could not have died 'about 1740'. He and his first wife, Susanna Pye are my 6th great grandparents. Susanna died young, she was only 27. According to my tree on Family Search Edward & Susanna had 5 children together, 3 girls and 2 boys; Mary, Christian (a girl), Susanna, Richard and Joseph (my direct ancestor). WIth Elinor he also had 5 children, (all boys) Christian (a boy this time, family gatherings must have been confusing!), John, Edward, Basil William and Thomas. Thomas was born in 1763 so Edward could not have died before Thomas was conceived. On my Family Search tree Edward's dates are: born Dec 23, 1705 - died Nov 28, 1771 both events in Prince George's County in the Maryland Colony. I can share with you the data I have on Edward. It's all from Family Search. Marilynn Tobash
