George was born in 1916 in Georgia. He was the son of Walter L Stovall and Mary A Woodliff. [1] In 1920 he was living with his parents and siblings in Fitzgerald, Georgia.[2]
George attended University of Georgia and Mercer University.[3] He served in the Army Air Corps in England and Germany during World War II.
George married Martha Eldridge in 1937 in Fitzgerald, Georgia.[4] In 1950 George and Martha were living with 2 children in Douglas, Georgia where George worked as a salesman in the wholesale grocery industry.[5]
He passed away in 2007. He was buried in Douglas City Cemetery in Douglas, Georgia.[6]
