Elizabeth was said to be the daughter of Sylvester Stover and Elizabeth Norton.
Elizabeth's age was recorded as 85 in 1738, making her estimated birth year about 1653.[1] She was likely born in or near York, Maine.
She married Richard Hunnewell on 31 March 1674 in Scarborough, Maine.[2] Some accounts show her name at marriage as Moore, suggesting she had a marriage prior to 1674, or that she was the daughter of Richard Moore.
Elizabeth and Richard had the following children:[3][4]
1. Elizabeth born 1868
2. Patience born 1674 in Bristol, Massachusetts or Maine
3. Roger born 1676 in Maine
4. John born about 1680
Richard died on 6 Oct 1703 in Black Point, Scarborough, Maine, along with 18 other men.[3]
Elizabeth survived Richard and in 1704 she petitioned Treasury of Mass Bay for money for disbursements by her late husband Richard.[3]
Elizabeth married second to Jeremiah Walford on 7 December 1714 in New Castle, Rockingham, New Hampshire. She married third to John Downing about June 1733.[2][3]
She likely died about 1738 in Newington, Rockingham, New Hampshire.

DNA Connections
It may be possible to confirm family relationships with Elizabeth by comparing test results with other carriers of her mitochondrial DNA.
However, there are no known mtDNA test-takers in her direct maternal line.
It is likely that these autosomal DNA test-takers will share some percentage of DNA with Elizabeth:
I am working on the Stover line a bit and may do some source additions, etc.
