Melvin F Stowers was enumerated as son of the head of household in Militia District 1422, Edgewood (excl. Atlanta city), Fulton County, Georgia for the June 11, United States Census, 1900. He was noted as at school, born November 1890 in Georgia and single as seen in an image of the original census. Also included in the household are head Henry H Stowers, wife Susan A Stowers, son Wm H Stowers, son Thon J Stowers, son Barton B Stowers and son Marshall G Stowers.^[1]

[Farres M] Stowers was enumerated as son of the head of household at 8 Loomis Avenue, Atlanta Ward 3, Fulton County, Georgia for the April 29, United States Census, 1910. He was noted as born 1890 in Georgia and single. He was a waiter (restaurant) as seen in the image of the original census. Also included in the household are head Henry H Stowers, wife Susan A Stowers, son William H Stowers, son Barton B Stowers and son Mercer G Stowers.^[2]
