Biography
The son of Linus Streeter (1794-1868) and his first wife, Mary Stow (1798-1824), Cyrus Streeter was born in Washington County, New York[citation needed] in 1819. His siblings included:

Mary M. Streeter (1822-1852)
Laura Watkins Streeter (1823-1907)
Cyrus married Elizabeth Ann (Pearce) Streeter, the daughter of Mason Pearce and Anna Archibald, marrying in Salem, New York around 1837[citation needed] and having son together. They made their home for a Washington County, New York, farming, and selling his land in 1856[1] and moving west to Michigan, taking up residence in Windsor Township, farming.[2][3]
Widowed in 1872, Cyrus remarried, marrying Delia Ann (Butler) Streeter, the daughter of Henry Rufus Butler and Mary Russell, and the widow of Elmer French, in Dimondale, Michigan on April 9, 1874.[4] They made their home together in Potterville, Michigan where, by 1880, Cyrus worked as a Justice of the Peace.[5]
Working last as an express agent, Cyrus Streeter died of pneumonia, following a bout of la grippe, passing away in Benton Township, Michigan[6] at the age of 73. He is buried at Courter-Pray Cemetery in Dimondale, Michigan.[7]
