Biography
Sloan was born in 1848. He is the son of Thomas Majors Stribling and Mary Jones.
Sloan Yowell Stribling lived at Roswell, Cobb Co, GA where he was president of a cotton mill. He married Ida Sligh on 1 Dec 1871. She was born 12 Oct 1853 and died in 1936. She was the daughter of John Hillery Sligh of Newberry, SC (1825-1919) and his wife Sarah Catherine Neel. John Hillery Sligh was son of David Sligh Jr. and his wife Susannah Catherine Summer. Sarah Catherine Neel was the daughter of Gee and Margaret (Clark) Neel. Their Children:
