Jerry, Here is what I have on David's children:
David Strickland, b. 11/23/1821 in Wake Co NC (or Sampson Co). He married Pearl C.G. (Piercy) Woods about 1840. He moved to Barbour Co AL in 1850. He fought in the Civil War for Comp. K. 29th Alabama Inf. He died in 1903 and his gravestone has recently been found by a cousin in the middle of a field in a small graveyard near Pine Level Cememtery
