Biography

George was born about 1761. He was the son of Jedediah Strutt and Elizabeth Woollatt.

He died in 1841.

The Strutt brothers - William looked after the technical side of the business, while Joseph and George Benson dealt with commercial and management side respectively. It became known as W. G. and J. Strutt.
