After death of Archibald, records indicate that Isabella remarried and moved to Hammonds Plains with her 3 youngest children.
Dorothy Evans (1993, Page 86) writes: "It is said that Isabella Stuart bore her name proudly, and there are hints of high-born connection, but, unfortunately, no documents."
