Biography

William Graham Stuart was born in Manchester in 1836, the son of James Stuart, a bookseller.

He married Thirza Greenhough, daughter of Thomas Greenhough a labourer, on 6 September 1856 at the Cathedral, Manchester, William was a shoemaker, and his father was shown as James Stuart, a bookseller ^[1]

In 1861, they were living in Higham Street, Manchester. William was age 26, a childrens boot maker, Thirza also age 26 was a cotton winder, and they had two children James A age 3 and Elizabeth D age 1. ^[2]

William's death was recorded in 1863 in Manchester. ^[3]
