"The first child of Johann Jacob Stutzman and Regina Loysa was born in Krottelbach and baptized in Konken.
"'Baptism No. 201. Hanss Peter [son of] Hanss Jacob Stutzman & Regina Loysa, his lawfully wed wife from Crottelbach on the 22nd of October 1697 was baptized. Godparents were: Pet. Mellinger, censor, Hans Pfauer, a Swiss, and Anna Elisabetha, surviving legitimate daughter of Jacob Stutzman of Switzerland.'
