There were two (or three) women named Emelie Suire in Vermilion Parish, Louisiana at that time. Maybe cousins. But according to the death record just above, the one with these attached parents married Gabriel Labauve.

Another Emilie Suire was born in Abbeville on 21 Nov.1874. Her father was Dupreville Suire and her mother was Marie Hedwige Stelly.

Yet another (it seems) married Farnese Desormeaux in Abbeville in 1894. That's the only one whose marriage record I could find on the SWLR CD, but the record doesn't name the parents. This could have been a first marriage for either of the two Emilies.
